ENTRY SIGN FEEDBACK
The signs at the 3 entrances on S. 31st
Street are looking worn and tired. The Board is considering having the
blue-and-white signs replaced with something new, fresher, and more up to date
with the times. The goal is not to spend a fortune, but it would be nice to
have signs that do not look as old as these signs do.
Here are what the signs currently say:
Currently, each entrance has a different
neighborhood name, thanks to the way the neighborhood was marketed back when it
was built. We would like to ask you if you would be in favor of having all
three entrance signs say simply 'WATERFORD'. The 'Village' and 'Commons'
names would not be part of the new signs. On the one hand, all of us are part
of 'Waterford HOA', so it would be nice to have only 'Waterford' on the signs.
On the other hand, people might feel very strongly about the name that is at
each entrance. Won't you please give us your two cents about
whether we should or should not simplify the signs to say only 'Waterford'?
